It is all about the product. Mostly stainless steel in the new French Revolution Eclairs shop, as one big professional baking and refrigeration unit to highlight the freshness of the eclairs. Benches and tables are made of identical pieces of massive wallnut, in the shape of eclairs. Warmth is brought by the impressive Tekio Santa & Cole paper lights. The mirrors in the upper part (placed as as in Adolf Loos's American Bar in Wien), multiply the space as if in an infinite production facility. Innovation lies in simplicity, in using a minimum of means to highlight and transmit maximum about the product. The strong, unbreakable materials, almost aging-proof, colorless, are devised for permanency, a synonym for sustainability. This is the 4th shop designed by us for French Revolution along 6 years. While the others were paying tribute to the site, building or cultural landmarks in the area, this las one, being at the ground floor of an office building has the exact opposite approach, it could be anywhere, it is at the same time neutral but strong in personality, it is easily replicable and one hundred per cent tailored around the product.
